Long John Silver's has launched a new beverage line, IceFlow Frozen Lemonade. The ice-blended drinks come in two flavors, Classic Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade, and are available for $1.49 for a medium 16 ounce.
Support for the the beverage launch, includes a TV commercial (also posted on YouTube) about Long John Silver's Summertime Happy Hour. The Happy Hour special features half-price IceFlow drinks every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The campaign includes a feature spot on the chain's coupon flyer, including a coupon for a free medium IceFlow Frozen Lemonade.
QSR beverage promos
Quick-service brands are heavily promoting beverages as summer heats up and most of McDonald's U.S. stores are offering any size soft drinks for $1. Promotions include:
- Burger King is offering $1 medium-sized Icees in Coke or Cherry flavor, through June 20.
- Taco Bell is promoting its new Limeade Sparklers and margarita-flavored frozen Frutista Freeze, including a coupon campaign with a flyer featuring buy-one-get-one offers for its Limeade Sparklers and Frozen Margarita (Classic and Strawberry) Frutistas. Taco Bell also is offering a downloadable coupon for a free Limeade Sparkler – until July 11 or half-million of the coupons are redeemed.
- Auntie Anne's is offering a free 21-ounce lemonade with the purchase of any pretzel dog via a downloadable coupon. The Lemonade Mixer line features five flavored lemonades, including new Mango and Pomegranate.
- A&W Restaurants has launched its new Orange Freeze and Root Beer Freeze, each available for 99 cents for a regular size drink for a limited time.
