• Popeyes giving away free tea on June 12 to celebrate 38th anniversary

To celebrate its 38th Anniversary and promote its new Cane Sweeeet Tea, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a division of AFC Enterprises Inc., is giving customers a free 22-ounce serving of its new beverage. The giveaway will take place Saturday, June 12, in honor of National Iced Tea Day.
Customers who visit participating locations will have their choice of either sweetened or unsweetened fresh-brewed Iced Tea.
 
Popeyes Cane Sweeeet Tea is the first quick-service restaurant brand offering Cane Sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener, following the trend of multiple retail food brands.
