A number of technology providers will debut new solutions at this weekend's National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, May 22 through May 25 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
New solutions include:
ParTech Inc. will unveil its new PAR EverServ 6000 LP (low profile) point-of-sale terminal. The system packages the durability, flexibility, scalability and performance of the company's proven EverServ POS hardware line into a sleek, contemporary design for image-conscious restaurant operators.
ParTech Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corp., which is demonstrating the new system along with its complete portfolio in Booth No. 5669. The company's products also will be on display in the booths of PAR partners Agilysys (Booth No. 6069) and QSR Automation (Booth No. 6264).
In addition to introducing its EverServ 6000 LP system at the NRA show, PAR will be demonstrating its complete portfolio of PAR EverServ solutions. PAR's booth will also feature solutions from four of its partners:
- Epson will feature its T70 Receipt Printer, a space-saving thermal receipt printer that complements the sleek EverServ 6000 LP.
- QSR Automations will be demonstrating its ConnectSmart Kitchen (CSK) software, which enables hospitality operators of all sizes and concepts to maximize productivity, profit, and guest satisfaction.
- SmartReceipt will feature its solution that enables restaurants to transform ordinary receipts into tailored, relevant and timely marketing messages to customers.
- Sundrop Systems will be demonstrating loyalTXT, a "card-less" loyalty solution that allows businesses to build an opt-in database of prospects and customers for marketing via SMS text message, email, and social media.
Content administration tool
Nextep Systems will introduce iNEXTEP, a robust administration tool that allows clients to manage content for dynamic digital menu displays, self-order kiosks and online ordering from an iPhone or iPod Touch. The company's products will be on display at Booth No. 5654.
Nextep will also take the wraps off the latest Touch Screen Drive-Thru that has shown significant return on investment during a pilot by a Subway franchisee.
Nextep president Tommy Woycik will be speaking with Geoff Alexander from Wow Bao on how the best restaurant operators are increasing revenue through new technologies. The discussion, "Beyond the Counter: New Order Points for New Profit Centers," will be held Saturday, May 22, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Nextep, the Self Order Kiosk provider for McCormick Place, will also have their new Model BX Freestanding Kiosk at the Show.
Scheduling apps
HotSchedules will feature its suite of solutions and supporting mobile applications, including its new BlackBerry employee-facing app as well as its iSchedule iPhone app. The company plans to release the BlackBerry manager app early in the third quarter and will release an Android app later this year.
HotSchedules will feature its products at Booth No. 5672.
Additionally, Ray Pawlikowski, president and CEO of HotSchedules, will participate in a panel session titled "Better Connections through Mobile Solutions," on Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m.
