Chick-fil-A is anticipating strong trial of its new Spicy Chicken Sandwich, the first new sandwich the chain has added since introducing the Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich in 1989. The company says the offering, which launches nationally June 7, is its most anticipated product rollout in 20 years.
 
To market — and manage — that fan anticipation, the company will be holding "exclusive premiere tasting" events for the new sandwich from May 31 to June 5. The company is using an online registration tool to allow consumers to sign up for the special product previews. The microsite www.GetSpicyChicken.com will begin taking reservations May 21, allowing customers the chance to choose their preferred Chick-fil-A Restaurant location and time.
