Quality Dining Inc., one of the nation's largest franchisee restaurant companies, has selected MICROS Systems as its exclusive preferred vendor for point-of-sale systems. MICROS completed the deployment of the MICROS Restaurant Enterprise Solution (RES), along with MICROS Kitchen Display System, to all 115 Quality Dining-operated Burger King locations in less than a month and is now focusing on the deployments to Quality Dining's 48 Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants, nine Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen restaurants and one blue2O seafood grill + bar.
MICROS enables the Quality Dining enterprise to manage complex employee environments, monitor inventory levels and streamline ordering and receiving processes through its fully-integrated, flexible restaurant POS and kitchen display systems. The complete enterprise management solution provides end-to-end communications throughout Quality Dining's business operations, increasing efficiency and speed-of-service to provide a better guest experience and ultimately enhance profitability.

Quality Dining was so impressed with MICROS' efforts in the Burger King conversion that it quickly decided to deploy MICROS at all its other restaurants.

Quality Dining operates 173 restaurants in six states, including casual dining, upscale and quick-serve establishments.
