Pinnacle Hospitality Systems has launched a new iPhone application to allow operators to view video surveillance clips of in-store transactions from their iPhone. Pinnacle Hospitality Systems has been a provider of POSitouch POS systems for more than 20 years and has now presented its latest technology to help hospitality businesses focus on loss prevention.
Restaurant owners can use the iPhone app to watch from anywhere actual video footage of transactions that take place. This allows owners to focus on transactions that may raise red flags — such as deletes, discounts or no sales — to make sure all businesses are running smoothly.
Pinnacle Hospitality Systems solution, ICE Monitor Network Video Recorder, provides digital video surveillance from anywhere in the restaurant. Cameras are mounted on the ceiling or walls to record clear video clips that are linked directly to a restaurant's POSitouch system.
Geovision Video Surveillance capture cards integrate with Pinnacle Hospitality Systems' POSitouch software to bring video clips right to the operator's iPhone. The new Geovision iPhone application called GV-iView is available on the Apple iTunes store.
