Dawn Professional has launched a sweepstakes offering a $20,000 restaurant makeover in its Dawn Make Your Restaurant Shine Contest. The contest is open to U.S. restaurant owners and offers the makeover as well as a paid trip for four to the 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in Chicago, May 22-25, where the award will be presented. Additionally, the winner will receive a restaurant consultation by chef/restaurateur Spike Mendelsohn.
To register for the contest, restaurateurs visit www.Dawncelebrations.com and complete an application, which includes the following for quesitons:
1.　 Briefly describe your biggest accomplishment as a restaurateur.2.　 Dawn Professional has been combining performance and value since 1978. Describe how you balance quality and value for your customers today.3.　 How would you use the Dawn Professional award money to create a smarter business?4.　 Dawn Professional has a reputation for getting the job done right the first time, so you can focus on the center of the plate. Describe the importance of resources and products that get the job done right the first time in your business.
All eligible entries received will be preliminarily judged by Procter & Gamble Distributing LLC to determine the top 15 entries. A panel will then select the grand prize winner from the top 15 entries. All judging will be based on the following criteria: originality and creativity, appropriateness to the subject matter and sincerity.
Submissions will be accepted through April 12.
