Wienerschnitzel is in the midst of a cash-giveaway sweepstakes in which a grand prize winner could receive $50,000. The Get Out from UnDer Debt contest includes four weekly prize drawings of $1,000 each. From those four winners, a grand prize winner will receive the opportunity to participate in a cash grab contest.
In the cash grab contest, the contestant will be given 40 envelopes containing prize tickets announcing varying monetary prizes ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. The contestant will open the envelopes until he or she has opened five tickets proclaiming the same prize amount. The number of tickets for each prize level varies, with the majority listing the $5,000 prize; five tickets announce the $50,000 prize.
To participate, each week in January consumers must visit a Wienerschnitzel location to obtain each week's "entry code." They then register and enter the code at the company's Web site.
The sweepstakes ends Jan. 31.
Downloadable iPhone app
In unrelated news, Wienerschnitzel also has released the free Der iPhone application. The app allows iPhone users to download coupons, find the nearest Wienerschnitzel location, watch Wienerschnitzel commercials and more. The app is available for download at the Apple iTunes store.
