Radiant Systems Inc. has announced a new agreement with Wendy's/Arby's Group to be a point-of-sale technology provider for the quick-service restaurant company's more than 1,150 company-operated Arby's locations. In addition, Radiant Systems is designated as an approved vendor for Arby's franchise restaurants, which number more than 2,200.
"We evaluated multiple vendors across our key hierarchy of needs, including efficiency, reliability, supportability, cost, scalability and extensibility," said Don Zimmerman, chief information officer at Wendy's/Arby's Group. "Radiant's unique ability to service the single-unit franchise operator as well as their ability to scale for our large corporate demands was crucial in our decision."
Wendy's/Arby's Group has deployed the Aloha Enterprise Suite, including Aloha Quick Service POS, Aloha Command Center, Aloha Configuration Center and Aloha Insight along with Radiant POS hardware within its company-operated Arby's restaurants in the United States.
