Lion's Tap restaurant in Eden Prairie, Minn., has settled its trademark infringement lawsuit against McDonald's Corp., according to a story in the Star Tribune of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The owners filed suit in August against the burger giant over its use of the restaurant's "Who's Your Patty?" slogan.
The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed but Lion's Tap had sought exclusive use of the phrase and monetary damages. Both sides seem pleased with the resolution.

"It's our trademark," said Bonnie Notermann, co-owner of the Eden Prairie restaurant, and "we will be using it." ..."The matter has been resolved," McDonald's said in an e-mailed statement. "Both parties reached a mutual satisfactory agreement. The terms of that agreement are considered confidential." ...However, the stipulation of dismissal filed in federal court indicates the victory might not have been a roaring success financially for Lion's Tap."All claims ... are dismissed with prejudice and without costs and disbursements of attorney's fees to either party," Thursday's filing stated.
