Submarina California Subs has announced Suzie Hunter has been named the company's new vice president of operations and marketing.
Hunter brings a wealth of operations, marketing, and franchising experience. She joined Submarina in September 2009 after a 4-year career with Dunkin' Brands in the Togo's division, where she held a variety of positions. In addition, she also worked for Clover Global and ExxonMobil.
"Since coming to Submarina, I have been focused on the field," Hunter said. "The franchisee and area developer communities are the backbones of our organization. The stronger we can make them, the stronger and faster Submarina can grow."
Hunter will help develop the new product pipeline and aims to facilitate the company's presence through Submarina's marketing and public relations partnerships, in addition to teaching franchisees and area developers how to do the same.
Her hire follows the September announcement regarding the promotion of Mimi Zeller from president and chief operating officer to president and CEO. Former CEO Jeff Warfield will remain with Submarina as an area developer in Riverside County, Calif.
