Pretzelmaker has announced that the company is introducing a new pretzel flavor for fall — Pumpkin Spice. Available for a limited time, the specialty pretzel is topped with a crunchy pumpkin spice blend with caramel sauce, either drizzled over the top or served on the side. Pretzelmaker is managed by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.
The new pretzel flavor took several months to develop and test in NexCen Franchise Management's research and development facility in Atlanta. According to Michael Curtis, vice president of plant operations and head of NexCen's research & development department, the flavor — inspired by a family recipe for pumpkin pie with melted caramels on top — is the latest in a line of innovative flavors and products from the brand.
Pretzelmaker offers a variety of pretzel flavors including original, Parmesan, garlic and ranch, among others, and specialty pretzels, such as the Iced Cinnamon Swirl, complemented by a selection of sweet and savory dipping sauces.
