Taco Bueno recently wrapped up its participation in the Great American Dine Out, an annual program that brings together thousands of restaurants and millions of consumers to help end childhood hunger in America. From Sept. 13 – 26, Taco Bueno encouraged customers to donate money to aid the cause. The restaurant chain raised more than $20,000 over the two-week period, surpassing last year's amount.
"As a quick-service restaurant chain that continually provides quality food for family meals, we know how important it is for children to have food," said Taco Bueno president John Miller. "In our second year of being involved with this remarkable cause, we know the donations made by our great customers will help children in need of nourishment."
As their way of participating in the event this year, Taco Bueno encouraged customers to purchase $1 donation cards, with all proceeds going to Share Our Strength.
