Jack in the Box is bringing back a burger favorite from the time of miniskirts and transistor radios. Originally launched in 1970, the Bonus Jack rocked the fast-food world when the chain debuted the double cheeseburger.
For a limited time, Jack in the Box is offering a Bonus Jack Combo Meal, featuring the double-patty cheeseburger along with a small order of fries and small drink, for the suggested price of $3.99 at participating restaurants. The Bonus Jack features two beef patties topped with two slices of American cheese, lettuce, pickle and Secret Sauce and served in a triple-decker bun.
"This is a big burger and hearty meal at a very retro price," said Tammy Bailey, division vice president of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box Inc. "Our guests today can now experience a popular blast from Jack's past and a value-priced combo meal that is particularly appealing to those on a tight budget."
