Dairy Queen has introduced a new twist on the chain's popular Oreo Blizzard Flavor Treat, the new Oreo Cookie Jar Blizzard.
Now available at all participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations nationwide, the September Blizzard of the Month is made with creamy DQ soft serve blended with Oreo cookie pieces, chocolate chip cookie dough and rich hot fudge.
To promote the new flavor, Dairy Queen is extending a special offer to customers who join the Blizzard Fan Club at BlizzardFanClub.com. Anyone joining the Blizzard Fan Club during September receives the club welcome "buy-one-get-one-free" offer as well as a $1 off coupon for the Oreo Cookie Jar Blizzard. Current fan club members also will receive the $1 off coupon in their September Blizzard Fan Club e-mail blast.
The average retail price of the Oreo Cookie Jar Blizzard is $3.09 for the 12-ounce, $3.49 for the 16-ounce and $3.99 for the 21-ounce. Many Blizzard flavors, including Oreo Cookie Jar, can be made into Dairy Queen's ice cream cakes, and the average price of a Blizzard cake is $21.49 for the eight-inch and $23.69 for the 10-inch.
