Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is promoting its limited-time offer wings with a nationwide consumer-generated photo contest: "Get Some Wings and Get Away," the company has announced. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, home to Popeyes.
For the photo contest, participants can take a photograph of themselves eating Popeyes wings, having fun with Popeyes wings, eating wings in an unusual way or place, or a creative photo featuring Popeyes wings. They can then go to a promotional Web site, click on the contest logo and enter the contest by submitting the photo. The wings are available at participating locations through Oct. 12.
The general public will vote on their favorite photos to select the finalists and a panel of judges will then select one consumer from the group of finalists to receive the grand prize of a two-day trip for two to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Four runners-up winners will each receive a $100 Popeyes gift card. Additionally, anyone who casts a vote online will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes to win a Popeyes $100 gift card.
The Popeyes "Get Your Wings and Get Away" contest ends Oct. 12.
