KFC has ramped up its Ultimate Value Menu and is promoting it via a specially designed vessel fitted to give away free samples.
The new value menu, available at participating restaurants, has a grilled chicken option as well as new snack and dessert items. KFC's Value Menu includes:
- $1.99 — Kentucky Grilled Value Box, choice of either a Kentucky Grilled drumstick or thigh with Potato Wedges; Snack Boxes, featuring Popcorn Chicken with Potato Wedges or Three Hot Wings with Potato Wedges; Snack Size Bowl or Honey BBQ Sandwich
- $1.49 — Little Bucket Parfait, Side Salad or KFC Toasted Wrap
- 99 cents — New Mini Melt, featuring pulled chicken doused in Honey BBQ Sauce and mixed with a three-cheese blend, wrapped in a fresh tortilla and grill-pressed; new three-pack Brownie Bites; KFC Snacker Sandwiches; two Biscuits or two apple turnovers
Float-thru nautical launch
This weekend only, KFC will promote its new value menu in conjunction with
the 2009 AVP Crocs Cup Championship Kentucky Grilled Chicken Chicago Open professional volleyball tournament. The promotion will showcase KFC's first "Float Thru" restaurant. Located on Lake Michigan just off shore of Oak Street Beach in Chicago, the floating restaurant will offer free KFC lunch to any boaters, jet skiers or anyone else aboard a vessel.
