Bojangles' Restaurants Inc. has named Tony Hopson as vice president of franchise operations.
Hopson, who joined Bojangles' in November 2007 as regional vice president of operations, will lead the Bojangles' franchising team to provide support to the quick-service restaurant chain's 290 franchise-owned locations. Hopson, a native of Florence, Ala., was vice president of franchising for a national restaurant chain prior to joining Bojangles'.
Hopson will be responsible for franchise growth of the Bojangles' brand and for making sure franchise owners have what they need to deliver on the Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits promise, said Randy Kibler, president and CEO of Bojangles' Restaurants.
First franchised in 1978, Bojangles' boasts 449 total locations throughout the Southeast. Bojangles' has 290 franchised and 159 company operated locations.
