Black Enterprise magazine has named Burger King Corp. one of the "40 Best Companies for Diversity" in the publication's 5th Annual Diversity Report. BKC was included in the prestigious listing for the second consecutive year for demonstrating strength in the diversity of its employee and supplier base.
"We have ensured that inclusion and diversity are woven into our company's business strategy as well as our culture," said John Chidsey, chairman and chief executive officer, Burger King Corp. Burger King Corp.'s inclusion efforts involve a four-pillar strategy led by the executive team that encompasses its workforce, community, guests and operators/suppliers.
The "40 Best Companies for Diversity" list is included in the July 2009 edition of Black Enterprise and is a comprehensive analysis of the top 1,000 publicly-traded companies and 50 leading global companies with U.S. operations.
