MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Delfield Co. was recently recognized as YUM! Brands' 2008 U.S. Equipment Supplier of the Year at the recent YUM! Star Supplier Awards ceremony, held in Louisville, Ky., the company has announced. The award recognizes Delfield's working relationship with YUM! Brands, specifically, Taco Bell, KFC and A&W, and the success of the custom fabrication prep and serving line products.
"We are proud to be associated with the leading companies in foodservice, and the additional recognition of a job well done is very much appreciated," said Kevin Clark, Delfield group president. "This award is the result of a customer-first philosophy that is an integral part of the Delfield DNA."
Clark said the team's pride in workmanship along with its focus on the customer was the impetus behind winning the award.
