ATLANTA — Great American Cookies, creator of the original Cookie Cake, has launched the company-wide rollout of George A. Cookies and his alter ego Cookie Man as their official public "spokes-cookies."
The company also has created a special page at www.greatamericancookies.com where fans can read the story of how George A. Cookies transformed into his superhero persona Cookie Man, follow his adventures, download coloring pages and more.
In support of the rollout, the company has developed a wide variety of new and limited edition products and packaging including thematic Cookie Cake designs, collectible cups and buckets filled with the company's signature Big Bites as well as plush dolls of Cookie Man and his alter ego George A. Cookies. The rollout is supported by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.
Great American Cookies also is offering a special combo promotion to celebrate the rollout. Customers who order three Kid's Combos (small fountain drink and regular cookie) during the month of July are eligible to receive a free George A. Cookies collectible plush. Guests who order three Kid's Combos during the month of August are eligible to receive a free Cookie Man collectible plush.
Kid's Combos are available for kids 12 and under and both offers are valid only while supplies last. In order to participate in the free plush program, guests will receive a Cookie Man card at the counter and have it stamped every time they order a Kid's Combo.
