USA TODAY: Iced coffee has gotten so popular in the past year that it has passed iced tea in sales as a breakfast drink at restaurants, according to The NPD Group. McDonald's, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and Cold Stone Creamery are all promoting various iced-coffee products this summer.
 
NPD said women and teenage girls are among iced coffee's biggest fans.
