N.Y. TV station tests find Starbucks, Dunkin' posting incorrect calorie counts

CBS 2 HD: An investigation by CBS 2 HD TV station in New York has tested and found inconsistencies in calorie count postings for menu items at Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts and other restaurants. The TV station reported the results to the NYC Department of Health, which inspects restaurants for safety but does not test calorie amounts. The health department said it plans to investigate further.

Starbucks has re-labeled the products that had displayed incorrect calorie counts, and Dunkin Donuts has said it's re-labeling the calorie counts for the disputed item. Restaurants can be fined up to $2,000 for not complying with the mandate.
