Arby's partners with King's Hawaiian for two new sandwiches

April 30, 2013

Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. has added a twist to its classic Roast Beef sandwich. For a limited time only, Arby's is partnering with the King's Hawaiian brand to introduce two new sandwiches — the King's Hawaiian Roast Beef and King's Hawaiian Roast Beef & Swiss.

The sandwiches are served hot and made fresh to order.

"Between Arby's and the King's Hawaiian brand, we are proud to say that together we have over 100 years of experience of perfecting sandwiches," said Bob Kraut, senior vice president of Brand Marketing & Advertising, Arby's Restaurant Group. "With the King's Hawaiian brand's love for bread and our love for roast beef, we believe we have created the ultimate sandwich – and have found Roast-Beef-atopia."

Family-owned King's Hawaiian was founded more than 60 years ago in Hilo, Hawaii.

To celebrate the launch, Arby's is hosting a Hawaiian Getaway sweepstakes, giving customers the chance to win a round trip to Honolulu, and a lesson at one of the island's premier surf schools, Hawaiian Fire. More information is available at The sweepstakes runs through May 26.
