Bojangles' launches multichannel tailgating campaign

Bojangles' has launched TailgateEverything.com, a website that lists more than 50 alternative tailgating ideas using the brand's signature menu items.

For example, the "How to Tailgate Romance" section suggests adding the brand's heart-shaped biscuits, using the brand's Sweetea as a perfume and using a Bojangles' wedding registry (simpleregistry.com/bojangles/). The website features photos, videos, tips and more on how to tailgate in unconventional ways.

There is also an instant-win game with prizes, including Bojangles' gift cards, and merchandise such as cornhole sets, folding chairs, foam fingers and koozies. Recipes created by Mike Bearss, Bojangles' SVP of Research and Product Development, feature "tailgating twists" on some of the brand's most popular menu items.

"Every fall our customers look forward to tailgating with Bojangles' chicken and biscuits at their favorite sporting events," said Randy Poindexter, Bojangles' senior vice president of Marketing. "This year, we're inviting our customers to 'Tailgate Everything' and we're having fun sharing our own ideas on how to do just that."

In-store, guests can pick up Bojangles' Tailgate Special, which offers eight, 12 or 20 pieces of Bojangles' hand-breaded chicken, buttermilk biscuits, choice of sides and Bojangles' Legendary Iced Tea. The Tailgate Special is served in the Big Bo Box, complete with plates, sporks and napkins.
