Bruster's new Death by Chocolate flavor created by franchisee

April 9, 2014

Bruster's Real Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor, called Death by Chocolate. The limited-time flavor features chocolate ice cream, Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa, chocolate chunks, chocolate krispies and brownie bits.

According to a news release, Bruster's Real Ice Cream's new flavors often are created by franchisees. Death by Chocolate originated in Gaithersburg, Md., when manager Bob Bryant started experimenting with everything that was chocolate in his shop. The creation is available in homemade waffle cones, sundaes, cups and shakes.

April also welcomes the return of Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice cream to Bruster's rotating menu of at least 25 flavors. Chocolate Raspberry Truffle starts with chocolate ice cream and combines raspberry crinkle and chocolate flakes.
