Carl's Jr., Hardee's franchisee selects Envysion video provider

Envysion Inc., a Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS) provider, announced that Jason and Carl LeVecke have selected Envysion as their exclusive video provider and are half way complete with a full rollout out to their franchise partnerships, including approximately 130 Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants.

Jason and Carl are also grandsons of Carl's Jr. founder, Carl Kartcher. They will use Envysion Insight to drive loss prevention efforts, improve daily operations and increase restaurant-level profitability.

"Envysion works with many CKE restaurants, and their familiarity with our concept has enabled us to take advantage of best practice exception reports specific to our Carl's Jr. and Hardee's so we can start improving right away," Jason LeVecke said.

Envysion seamlessly integrates point-of-sale data and video to provide a video-driven business intelligence tool. Envysion's enterprise exception reports identify high risk transactions, such as discounts, voids, refunds and deleted items, across all of their locations. Users then validate suspicious events by reviewing the linked video footage side-by-side with the POS data.

The company also uses Envysion to understand daily operations and policy adherence. For example, an exception report that flags employee meals identifies potential sweethearting or fraud, which can be used to validate policy adherence and to see if the meal went to an on-the-clock employee.
