Chick-fil-A restaurants across the Houston area will host a "Date Night" for more than 4,000 families throughout the week of Oct. 7. The prince and princess-themed events will include royal-themed activities.
"With extracurricular activities, homework, and the general hustle and bustle of life, it can be difficult for families to carve out quality time with each other," said Operator Juli Salvagio. "We want these events to create an easy way for families to connect, while offering a theme the whole family can enjoy."
Each participating family will receive a prince and princess-themed activity sheet with questions and topics designed to start conversations, according to a news release. In addition, families will have the chance to take photos in a booth manned by a "knight" in shining armor. The Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin'" Princess Cow will also be on hand for photos. Activities are free, minus the cost of food.
Other activities at select restaurants include a carriage ride, face painting and knighting ceremonies.
Reservations are required, and event dates and times will vary by location. Customers can call or visit their local Chick-fil-A restaurant to make a reservation.
The Greater Houston area is home to 59 Chick-fil-A restaurants.
