A new marketing campaign announcing the return of Culver's Colby Jack Pub Burger marks the first time in nearly three years the restaurant has featured a limited-time-only menu item on TV.
The Colby Jack Pub Burger's reappearance comes after last year's successful debut. The commercial will run from April 15 through June 16 and is part of Culver's Welcome to Delicious campaign, which debuted about two years ago.
"Our Welcome to Delicious campaign has let us focus on our core menu items, but the Colby Jack Pub Burger has been so successful we felt it important to give this popular LTO some attention of its own," said David Stidham, vice president of marketing at Culver's. "Airing on the heels of our North Atlantic Cod spot, this campaign will refocus guest attention on the ButterBurger by showcasing the pairing of our signature burger with gourmet ingredients and an artisan, supper club bun."
The Colby Jack Pub Burger features fresh, Midwest-raised, grill-seared beef. It is then topped with real Wisconsin Colby Jack cheese, onions and four-pepper mayo with a touch of A1 Steak Sauce and served on an artisan, supper club bun.
"The response to the Pub Burger was unprecedented and we knew we had to bring it back," Stidham added. "The promotional backing of television will help us bring this delicious burger to a wider audience."
Additionally, Culver's has launched the "This Round's on Craig" Facebook promotion. One grand prize winner will win a trip for themselves and three of their friends to Sauk City, Wisc., home of the first Culver's. The winner and friends will have the opportunity to grill up Colby Jack Pub Burgers with co-founder and CEO Craig Culver, receive a two-night stay in a Wisconsin Dells resort and $1,000 in cash. All entrants will receive $1 off a Pub Burger Value Basket. The Facebook promotion runs now through April 22.
