Culver's plans monthly social media promotions for 2013

Culver's has launched a "Mini Resolutions" sweepstakes inviting guests to share their lighthearted 2013 goals for a chance to win prizes.

Entrants will be selected at random to receive a coupon for one free Mini Concrete Mixer, and a grand prize winner will win a $500 Culver's gift card. There will be 10,000 coupon winners throughout the promotion.

"We want to fire up our guests for the year ahead by inspiring them to make quick and fun 'mini' resolutions," said David Stidham, Culver's vice president of marketing. "Each resolution — from paying a compliment each day to hitting the snooze button once instead of twice - is as unique and special as the person who makes it, just like a build-your-own Mini Concrete Mixer. It's the perfect reward for setting a fun goal."

Guests can enter via the Mini Resolutions app on Culver's Facebook page through Jan. 28.

"Social media promotions are an entertaining way to amplify brand awareness and delight fans," Stidham added. "Most folks have a hard time keeping their New Year's resolutions, which led us to encourage more modest pledges by offering similarly-sized rewards."

Culver's is planning monthly social campaigns for 2013 to connect with its guests.
