Dunkin' Donuts cools down its beverage lineup

With spring in full swing, Dunkin' Donuts has introduced three new Coolatta frozen beverage flavors, Berry Blast, Raspberry Lime and Minute Maid Orange.

Throughout May, small Coolatta beverages will be available for a value price of $1.99.

The Berry Blast Coolatta provides pomegranate and blueberry flavors in a frozen fruity drink, while the new Raspberry Lime Coolatta has a sweet lime flavor with a hint of raspberry. Both are available nationwide at participating restaurants for a limited time only.

The Minute Maid Orange Coolatta joins the menu lineup as a permanent item at participating restaurants nationwide.

The brand is also bringing back several favorite seasonal varieties, including Frozen Lemonade, Blue Raspberry and Strawberry Lemonade Coolatta. They are available for a limited time only.

"We look forward to the beginning of warm weather and the opportunity to give our guests new and innovative ways to keep cool and stay running as the temperatures rise," said Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin' Brands' executive chef and vice president of Product Innovation. "This year is especially exciting as we're adding to our Coolatta menu lineup with three fun, unique flavors."

Dunkin' Donuts hosts campaign for hunger initiatives

Dunkin' Donuts is also hosting a $1 paper icon campaign throughout its Metro New York restaurants to raise money for the Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation (DDBRCF). The DDBRCF donates money to provide food for the hungry, improve safety and positively impact children's health.

The campaign runs through May 31. One -hundred percent of the donations will benefit local charities such as food banks and children's hospitals in the community of each participating restaurant.

Restaurants will display all icons purchased and signed by guests, and those who participate will receive coupons to purchase six donuts for $3.99 at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the Metro New York area.
