Dunkin' Donuts ties online dating site into Valentine's promo

To celebrate Valentine's Day today, Dunkin' Donuts is giving away 1,000 $5 mGifts when they register with Zoosk, an online dating company and app.

Dunkin' Donuts has also launched a Twitter sweepstakes, asking fans to tweet a message to their Valentine for the chance to win mGifts, and to possibly have their message turned into a personalized video, according to a news release.

To celebrate Dunkin's new brown sugar cinnamon latte, Zoosk is offering a deal for anyone who signs up. Those who register at Zoosk today will have a chance to win a $5 Dunkin' Donuts mGift. Participants must register through the special link, bit.ly/coffeedates, and Zoosk will randomly select up to 1,000 winners. No purchase is necessary.

Additionally, fans who tweet a special message for their own sweetheart, using the hashtag #DDHearts, can earn a chance to win a $20 mGift, a $100 mGift or a specially created video. Each video will be posted to YouTube and tweeted back to the fan who entered, and will feature their own tweeted message and a heart-shaped donut personalized with the name of their sweetheart. The donut will be personally created and decorated by Rick Golden, Dunkin' Donuts' manager of Donut Excellence.
