Dunkin' Donuts unveils new look for packaged hot tea

April 10, 2013

Dunkin' Donuts unveiled a new look for its packaged hot tea, featuring a new design with modernized graphics. The new boxes of packaged tea, available in black, decaf and green varieties, will be arriving at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide beginning today for a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 20-count box.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the introduction of Dunkin' Donuts' signature hot tea, a proprietary blend of select high grown teas. All of the farms from which Dunkin' Donuts sources its tea are members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a not-for-profit organization established in 1997 to help build a thriving tea industry that is environmentally sustainable.

"While Dunkin' Donuts is famous for our coffee beverages, our hot tea continues to grow in popularity amongst our guests. We're excited to give our packaged tea a new look in our restaurants, and to reinforce our leadership in offering a full variety of beverage choices to help keep people running at home or on-the-go," said CEO Nigel Travis.
