Jan. 17, 2013

Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc., parent company of Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana, has named Nancy Clark as vice president — chief people officer, effective immediately.

Clark has more than 15 years of experience at several organizations, including J.C. Penney Corporation, PepsiCo Inc. and General Electric Company. Most recently, she served as division vice president, Human Resources, Global Supply Chain Operations and International Divisions at J.C. Penney, where she led the talent strategy for those businesses.

Prior, she held a number of human resources executive roles at PepsiCo, in its Frito-Lay, Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade Divisions.

"We are thrilled to be adding Nancy as the final piece of our executive management team," said Tim Taft, Fiesta's CEO. "Everything we do is about people and as an organization we aspire to be the employer of choice. To get there, we must have a leader that will drive that vision. Nancy is an excellent fit within this team and culture and will be an important part of our strategic growth plan."
