Jersey Mike's adds charity partners for its annual Month of Giving campaign

This March, Jersey Mike's Subs is partnering with more than 100 local charities for the company's 4th Annual March "Month of Giving" fundraising campaign.

According to a company news release, last year's Month of Giving raised $1.7 million for 86 different charities nationwide. This year's goal is to surpass that amount.

During March, as part of the campaign, customers are invited to make an in-restaurant donation to that location's designated charity partner. Charities include hospitals, food banks, youth organizations and more.

Jersey Mike's will offer incentives to donors, such as $1-off offer for the next visit with $1 donation, or a free-chip-and-drink offer for the next visit with a $3 donation.

The campaign will culminate in the nationwide event, Jersey Mike's "Day of Giving" on March 26 when 100 percent of the day's sales are donated to the local partner charity.

"I would like to extend a personal invitation to come in and enjoy a Jersey Mike's sub during our Month of Giving," said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike's founder and CEO. "This year we hope to raise more than $2 million to support these local causes so we can bring hope to all those involved with the charities and make a difference in people's lives."
