KFC introduces cookies as part of new Festive Feast meal

KFC is baking up its own chocolate chip cookies now as part of its new Festive Feast eight-piece meal.

The Festive Feast is available for $19.99 and includes eight pieces of chicken, two sides, four biscuits and a dozen of KFC's new cookies. KFC is marketing the meal around the cookies, baked in store, by communicating that it will help provide "sweet relief from the holiday chaos."

Ghana footprint expands

Also this week, KFC opened its first drive-thru unit in Ghana – its third unit in that country thus far.

According to Ghana Business News, the brand made its debut in the country in August 2011.

KFC is currently operating in 12 African countries, with more planned. This year's target countries include Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Angola, Zimbabwe, Congo and Madagascar.
