To celebrate McDonald's new Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich, Philadelphia area restaurants have launched the Tastemakers program. According to a news release, Tastemakers includes a group of the region's "most socially active and creative young professionals."

The Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich is the first menu item other than the Big Mac to include the brand's signature Big Mac "special sauce." The release said the sandwich is aimed toward the Millennial demographic.

"Our customers love the classic Big Mac sauce and we are excited to bring that special flavor to another premium sandwich," said John Durante, president, McDonald's Restaurants of the Greater Philadelphia Region Owner/Operator Association.

To launch the Tastemakers program, McDonald's is partnering with Replica Creative to host the "Welcome to the Club" launch party on April 25.

The event will "encourage young professionals throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region to come out and grow both their personal and professional networks at a unique collaborative affair where creativity meets arts and culture," the release said.

Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to sample the new Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich.
