McDonald's chicken McWraps will officially become a permanent addition to the menu next week. According to the Associated Press, they will come in three varieties: chicken and bacon, sweet chili chicken and chicken and ranch wraps, and will sell for the suggested price of $3.99.
The McWraps will include flour tortillas used in the brand's snack wraps that were first introduced in 2006. Additionally, two of the new offerings will include cucumbers. According to the company, this marks the first time cucumbers have been part of its menu.
Similar wraps are available in other markets around the world.
In January, COO Tim Fenton said the company's product pipeline is "much more robust" than it was last year, and includes more than 180 products that can be pulled from menus globally.
"A lot of our items travel quite well," Fenton added.
Other McWraps are also in the pipeline and could make their way onto U.S. menus soon, including a Cajun version.
