RestCloud.net, which streamlines the food ordering flow between online ordering services and restaurants, has partnered with OpenRest, a provider of white label portal and mobile ordering apps, to integrate and launch the RestCloud network and multipurpose terminal for restaurants. Earlier this week, the two companies debuted the system in Tel Aviv with restaurants from Israel's biggest online food ordering portal, food.co.il, according to a company press release.

The partnership signals a significant change in the distribution of orders within the multibillion per year online food ordering industry, said Dave Rogers, OpenRest VP of business development.

"Teaming with RestCloud was a no brainer – their terminal is a magic bullet that increases efficiencies and communication. It fits our M.O. of running the smartest available technology for our hundreds of white label restaurant clients and global portal partners," he said.

The solution is a programmable two-way channel that has tablet functionality, printing capability and works wirelessly, Rogers said.
