Orange Leaf launches custom fro-yo app

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt has launched My Orange Leaf, (www.myorangeleaf.com), an online microsite and accompanying update to its existing mobile app specifically designed to give customers a personalized experience with their favorite Orange Leaf store.
 
To celebrate the launch and to demonstrate the company's desire to shift even more decision-making power to its fans, Orange Leaf is asking customers to name its new, blue, fruity Mystery Flavor for a chance to win free fro-yo for a year. Available through May 20, customers are asked to try the flavor in-store and submit their idea for its name via the My Orange Leaf app or direct mail. Every Friday, one entrant will receive a $25 Orange Leaf gift certificate. Full contest rules are available at myorangeleaf.com.
 
"We've always been passionate about giving customers the ability to create a frozen yogurt treat exactly the way they want it with our wide variety of flavors and toppings," said Reese Travis, CEO of Orange Leaf. "The My Orange Leaf app and our Mystery Flavor-naming contest is another opportunity to connect with and empower our community of fans on a local level."
 
Orange Leaf fans can currently download the My Orange Leaf app from the company's website or from the Apple’s iTunes. The app also will soon be able to via Android’s Google Play marketplace.

Through either the app or online, customers can use the store locator to find the closest Orange Leaf and get store hours and contact information. Once connected with a local store, customers can customize their experience by checking the current flavor line-up, reviewing nutrition and allergen info, and voting on which of Orange Leaf’s 60+ flavors they want to try next. In addition, gift card holders can check their account balance and Ounce Back members can register and check points on their cards. Fans also can stay updated on daily, weekly and ongoing special deals and promotions and share their in-store experience with others via the app by posting photos on Facebook and Twitter.
