Panasonic System Communications Company of North America today announced its latest drive-thru communications system, Attune II.
Based on the Attune system, the Attune II includes significant upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction through improved speed of service and order accuracy in the drive-thru, and provides managers with ongoing operational support via video monitoring and audio recording capabilities, according to a news release.
Attune II includes increased Digital Noise Reduction that can remove both constant and fluctuating noise, improved echo cancelling and volume control. The system's volume automatically adjusts to account for fluctuating ambient noise, and volume levels for Attune II are twice as loud as the previously iteration.
Attune II operates on the restricted 1.9 GHz band with a new DECT repeater, which increases range and eliminates antennas. Additionally, no FCC licenses are required for operation.
The company said the new smaller, thin-bodied speaker and microphone can be easily installed into virtually any speaker post while the Attune II's redesigned headset and belt pack improves comfort. Attune II also includes a 7-inch LCD touch screen Center Module with a menu system and integrated security controls to limit unauthorized adjustments.
Additionally, the Attune II can be easily integrated with up to four surveillance cameras so users can monitor the drive-thru and the whole property's security via a live feed on the LCD touchscreen.
