PeopleMatter, a cloud-based workforce management platform designed specifically for the service industry, has announced that it has secured $16 million in Series E funding led by StarVest Partners. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate growth, invest in sales and marketing, and expand internationally.

The PeopleMatter Platform is an all-in-one hiring, training, scheduling and communication platform that automates processes and paperwork company-wide. The platform is engineered to handle multiple brands and locations, high turnover, a large hourly workforce, and the demands of today's mobile worker, the announcement said.

PeopleMatter President and CEO Nate DaPore said the funding, led by StarVest Partners, will also speed the release of several products currently in the pipeline.

"Our SaaS financial metrics are exemplary and consistent with the fastest growing software companies," DaPore said. "This investment by StarVest enables us to accelerate the adoption of our innovative, elegant and transformative products in the market for employers who are looking to drive business execution across their business."
