Philly Dunkin' Donuts giving away coffee to encourage blood donations

Jan. 10, 2014

In support of National Blood Donor Month this January, Dunkin' Donuts in Greater Philadelphia is partnering with the American Red Cross to encourage donors to "Give a Pint, Get a Pound." This month, all donors at Red Cross blood drives in the Philadelphia region will receive a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee redeemable at participating restaurants in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

"Dunkin' Donuts is once again honored to partner with the America Red Cross Penn-Jersey Region to offer the 'Give a Pint, Get a Pound!' of coffee program," Lou Conte, field marketing manager, said in a news release. "Our hope is the offer of a free pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee will motivate more blood donors to support the Red Cross during this crucial time and help save lives in our region."
