Rita's Italian Ice has appointed New Jersey-based Sigma Group as its agency of record. Sigma Group has been contracted to provide strategic planning, branding, creative and promotional development, as well as media planning and buying services for the brand. Terms of the agreement and budget were not disclosed.

Sigma Group will partner with Rita's public relations agency of record, Duke Marketing, to develop fully integrated promotions such as Rita's 30th anniversary, which will take place in 2014.
