Nearly half of all Subway restaurants in the U.S. will be serving freshly brewed Seattle's Best Coffee as part of their breakfast offerings by the end of the year. The agreement between the two companies calls for more than 9,000 U.S. Subway restaurants to feature Seattle's Best Coffee by the end of 2009, with plans to expand into more restaurants during 2010.
Additionally, an agreement was signed to bring Seattle's Best Coffee to a group of more than 800 Subway restaurants in Canada before the end of 2009.
Subway restaurants will feature a fully branded Seattle's Best Coffee program, providing customers with a premium, great tasting specialty coffee to accompany their freshly made Subway breakfast, lunch or dinner. The freshly brewed offerings include:
- Seattle's Best Blend and Decaf Seattle's Best Blend — a signature coffee house blend that features a sweet, lively, snappy flavor with an incredibly smooth finish
- Henry's Blend — a nutty, hearty and flavorful blend that is also used in all espresso beverages in Seattle's Best Coffee cafes
- 6th Avenue Bistro Blend — a dark, rich and smooth blend
