Taco Bell's fan-created Beefy Crunch Burrito returns this week

 Taco Bell is bringing back the Beefy Crunch Burrito this week for a limited time. The fan-created item made its debut in 2011 and features Flamin' Hot Fritos corn chips, seasoned beef with warm nacho cheese sauce, seasoned rice and sour cream. It will be on the menu Thursday through early August.

The product has generated customer demand and even a fan-created Facebook page called "3 Million Fans to get back the Beefy Crunch Burrito." This year, the Taco Bell gave its loyal fans the scoop about its return on Snapchat.

According to the copmany, with a growing number of loyal fans using the app daily to share content with friends, it wanted to be innovative in delivering this message to those "who deserved to know first."

Additionally, the NBA has teamed up with Taco Bell (its official quick-serve restaurant since 2009), to create a variety of NBA Big Boxes such as the Beefy Crunch Burrito Box and Doritos Locos Tacos (DLT) Box, as well as using their existing Variety Taco 12 packs, to share a QR code for exclusive NBA related content like videos and player moments. A total of 42 NBA players appear on the boxes (seven on each box, six different boxes total), with one member per team in the league featured, including Steph Curry, Kevin Love, Kevin Durant, Chris Bosh, and Dwight Howard. The suggested retail price for all boxes is $5.
