Taco Republic to serve Kansas City homeless this week

Taco Republic and the Taco Republic Truck will deliver and serve tacos and sides to those at the Kansas City (Mo.) Rescue Mission Men's Center Tuesday at noon.

According to a news release, more than 1,500 men seek services at Kansas City Rescue Mission's Men's Center every year. In a single year, the center provides between 86,000 and 89,000 meals and 36,000 nights of shelter.

The Taco Republic Truck will offer its entire menu including the Puerco Rojo, Old School, and Tinga tacos, as well as beverages and sides. Taco Republic employees are donating their time on Christmas Eve to provide meals to the men of KCRM.
