Wendy's debuts short film to promote new premium sandwich

Wendy's today announced its newest premium offering — a Tuscan Chicken on Ciabatta sandwich. The sandwich includes a toasted artisan ciabatta bun, homestyle chicken filet, garlic and roasted tomato aioli sauce, spring mix, natural Asiago cheese and sliced tomatoes.

According to a news release, the chain is celebrating the launch with its first-ever short film, titled "L'Estrella de la Toscana" (The Star of Tuscany), which was shot and filmed in Italy.

Fans are encouraged to try Wendy's new Tuscan Chicken on Ciabatta and submit a caption based on scenes from the film, which will be released on April 22 on the brand's Facebook and Twitter pages. The funniest captions will be strung together to subtitle the Italian-dialogue video, which will debut on Wendy's social channels in early May.

The sandwich is available for the suggested price of $4.69.
