Wendy's implements monitoring and reporting solution

ENow Inc., a Microsoft Certified Partner specializing in infrastructure consulting and development of software to simplify Microsoft system management, announced that The Wendy's Company has selected its Mailscape tool for Microsoft Exchange Server reporting and management.

According to a news release, Wendy's was searching for a solution that could monitor its Exchange environment and alert key systems engineers of issues. Don Murawski, manager of Unified Communications, wanted to ensure a stable and robust messaging environment as the chain experienced growth. He said the Exchange team was spending too much time manually checking the environment's health, real time feedback was minimal and system outages were a challenge.

Wendy's chose Mailscape for its one-look dashboard, instant feedback and monitoring, which has allowed the chain's Messaging team to identify and troubleshoot small problems before they escalate into major outages, the release said.

"I'm relieved that Mailscape allows me the time and flexibility to focus my attention on other projects, rather than email 24/7," Murawski said. "Mailscape has become my personal Exchange babysitter."

Murawski said Mailscape has had an immediate impact at Wendy's.

"Mailscape provides instant feedback of the health of the entire messaging environment," Murawski said. "Real time monitoring on key functionality, like DAG health, is vital for any Exchange engineer. As a manager, I have instant feedback on all my Exchange servers and it allows me to make better use of my team's time."
