Wendy's unveils Mozzarella Chicken Supreme Sandwich

Latino musician Tito El Bambino and Wendy's announced the identity of the "Wendy's Secret Sandwich"— the Mozzarella Chicken Supreme Sandwich — from a contest launched earlier this month.

During the contest, entrants guessed the five ingredients of the new sandwich via a Facebook tab that allowed users to build and submit their sandwich entry online.

Those who guessed a homestyle filet of premium all-white meat chicken, topped with parmesan sauce made from real buttermilk, sour cream and Parmesan cheese, two slices of natural Mozzarella cheese, lettuce and tomato served on a butter toasted bun, were entered in the random drawing to win VIP tickets to see Tito El Bambino in concert.

The sandwich is now available at participating Wendy's restaurants for a limited time.

"We're dedicated to providing our customers with distinctive, unique flavor combinations with premium ingredients," said Jesus Valdez, Wendy's director, Brand Management for U.S. Hispanic Markets. "This is the time of year to enjoy all that the season has to offer, and now that the secret sandwich is out of the bag, we're excited to offer this delicious sandwich to our fans."

The contest winner will get to meet Tito El Bambino. The winning prize pack also includes VIP tickets to one of Tito El Bambino's concerts next year, round trip airline tickets for the winner and a companion, and accommodations for one night.

Wendy's now features a Facebook page for its Latino fan base at facebook.com/wendyslatino. The "Como es el Sabor de Tus Fiestas? Contest" opens this week at celebraconwendys.com/fiestas.
